I have been working as a personal carer and support worker for over 15 years and have specialized in Disability Care (mental, physical or mental health disability). I have extensive experience in all matters of care but I love working on developing life skills and helping to build up self confidence as much as possible. I believe we learn more by doing with our own effort than by watching others and have everything done for us. Also the self gratification my clients feel from being able to achieve any goal, no matter how small, specially when it is hard is the stuff that fuels my love for the job. I also love community integration and participation and enjoy going out on adventures with my clients.
