I’m currently a Nursing student, and have been working in an Emergency Department for the past 4 years. I’ve looked after a diverse range of patients, some of whom have had complex additional needs. I have a large interest in eventually pursuing a nursing career that sees me looking after, and advocating for special needs children. Whilst living in Mackay I did care for a 5 year old girl who had complex needs, including epilepsy, so I do have some background experience with children and special needs.
