Hi there! My name is Cate. I was previously a nanny for 5 years with the same family, before the children entered school. I'm now a phlebotomist as my main job, and looking to re-enter the early childhood care sector as an additional job. I'm neurodivergent & trauma informed, so I am aware how children with additional needs may need that extra care, in a way that nurtures them so their needs are met. Being on the spectrum myself, I can further understand & empathise with your child, and am more than happy to do anything they may need to regulate, and to settle. I also understand that meltdowns can be very different & vary from child to child, and I know that meltdowns are something that come along with caring for anyone who's neurodivergent. I also offer afternoon & evening care, such as dinner & bath time, & meal prep, plus I'm available to do some light housework, take care of pets, laundry, dishes, etc; and do late night sitting, especially if you superstar parents are just stressed out and need some time to wind down & recharge, knowing your little ones are especially well taken care of! I'm always happy to do a virtual meet& greet before I start with helping to care for your family!
