i have personal experience when it comes to caring for someone with special needs, as my brother has autism. throughout my lifetime, i have learnt how to appropriately and sensitively care for his needs, and have learnt a lot about his condition throughout the years. i also can understand that every persons experience is different with autism, but i would be honoured to provide the care that’s necessary to those who need it most. as stated above, i am a full time nursing student, and i am currently on my second year of the course, looking to finish in mid september of 2022. in this course, i have experience working in mental health, aged care, and rehabilitation as i have been on these required placements. i have gained lots of confidence caring for others in these environments, and have catered to my clients/patients needs with ease. i currently work in retail, (Tk-Maxx), and have been for 3+ years. i have gained exceptional customer service skills and overall communication skills while working in this industry. i previously worked as a covid marshall, as well as other retail jobs in the past.
