Britt lived and worked with a family in the USA two years as a live-in carer and therapy support person. She was taking care of two boys aged 11 and 15 years, one with ADHD. Although his behaviour was challenging at times, Britt managed the situation by trying different approaches and working closely with his parents. After the USA, Britt returned to Germany to start her apprenticeship where she worked in a kindergarten for children with and without special needs and is now ready to join a family in Australia as a carer and therapy support person.
