I have been working with varying disabilities for many years. My best friend from my childhood has severe cerebral palsy, while in school I would help out with her feeding and communication (communication board). When we had finished high school, I started working with her on a one to one basis providing care in many different situations. I would provide in home care; all personal care, cooking, cleaning up. As well as going on outings; movies, swimming, concerts, dinners/lunches, to university and many more.
