I’m a 53year old grandmother that enjoys helping others achieve what they want. I am currently a disability support worker and have been for the last 7 years on and off. I have also cared for a live in 85 year old diabetic mother in-law in the past and was the primary carer responsible for blood sugar testing and monitoring, all dietary needs as well as the giving of medications for a period of 2 years. I have done home care/domestic support in elderly clients homes for an agency for a years period 2016/2017. I also had a locked in tetraplegic nephew for whom I helped with and cared for often prior to 2010 for many years. I’ve done many things over the years but this is the most rewarding work I must say. I have a current CPR and first aid certificate as well as medication training certificate. Fire safety very and manual handling.
