Hi there, My name is Stephanie and I am a detector dog handler at the Brisbane Airport. I have loved caring for and learning about dogs since I was 5 years old which has lead me to where I am today. I started as a RSPCA volunteer when I was 14 years old and fostered many different breeds and sized dogs ever since. I completed a bachelor of applied science and majored in veterinary technology. With my degree I worked as a vet nurse for two years and started as a dog trainer in my second year. I taught puppy pre school to adult classes for two years which lead me to my current role as a detector dog handler. I am currently looking at filling in my time around shift work on my rostered days off and before my late shifts, so thought what better way then combining my love for dogs and exercise and dog walk. I also have two dogs at home who are dog friendly and can offer socialized visits and doggy day care.
