My name is Roima. I have worked with animals (dogs, horses, sea turtles and more) since I was 11. I am a marine biologist and have worked at two different sea turtle rescue and research facilities as well as have been an aquarist at an accredited aquarium. I had my first two jobs being a pet sitter and working at a doggy boutique by the age of 11. I worked at the doggy boutique doing everything from walking dogs, grooming, and sales/customer service till I was 17. I raised a guide dog for the blind puppy for 1 year, where prior to receiving my puppy, completed training courses myself in order to acquire the necessary skills to raise the puppy correctly. I have done dog walking and dog sitting as a part time/side job for ~ 3 years. Of course having a bit of an extra income is great but I've been involved in this line of work (pup sitting/walking) mainly because I love dogs and I love taking care of them and just having them around. I am not currently in the position to rescue and adopt my own pup, (though previously have always had a family dog) so taking care of others is the best option for me currently. All in all I very comfortable and experienced working with dogs as well as just an overall animal lover and enthusiast.
