I think building a relationship with any animal is important as trust is developed and therefore loyalty will follow. Having a pet can be hard work but it’s worth it at the end. I think animals especially dogs are incredible as they are always there for you, physically and mentally providing love and entertainment. I have a 2 year old staffy at home whom I trained myself and I love him to bits.
