I have been around animals since I was born. I have always had a passion for animals. When I turned 12, I became responsible for my family’s pets, taking on the responsibilities such as feeding, bathing, feeding and toilet training. When I turned 16, I would care for my friends’ pets when their family would go away for the weekend. I have on occasion helped people who are fostering animals: when they need to go away for family emergencies or even just a weekend away. My responsibilities would be the same along with getting these animals used to me (as a new person) so they are less fearful (that is until their foster parents came home). I am currently house sitting every week where I am caring for 4 fur babies, where I clean up after them, feed, bathe, play with and walk these fur babies. I care for them as if they were my own fur babies.
