Hello! My name is Martha, and I have recently moved to Sydney. I have plenty of experience with animals as I have three dogs and two cats at home whom I love dearly. I also have experience babysitting dogs back home in Ireland, as well as working in a dog day care facility which allowed me to gain experience, and instil confidence in numerous anxious rescue dogs. Which enabled us as trainers to give high quality of care and build trust with the dogs. I also evaluated the behaviour of numerous dogs that were exhibiting aggression and developed a training regimen that improved their behaviour. In addition to this I volunteered at Festina Lente which provides a variety of training, occupational, learning and employment opportunities for people whose needs are not being met by mainstream services; inspired through the use of horses and horticulture. Through this I could Provide emotional and psychological support to clients, helping them to build resilience and cope with challenging situations when dealing with the animals and how to manage stressful situations.
