I have had dogs all my life and come from farm land where I grew up for 17 years. Through this time I have had multiple dogs of friends, family and neighbours to help care for alongside my own. My own miniature dachshund is like family to us. When we were settling him in the main factor we kept with us is that it takes more than just the owner to help raise the dog to be part of this community.
