I am a second year student at the University of Melbourne, currently studying the Bachelor of Agriculture (majoring in Production Animal Science) to gain entry into the Doctor of Veterinary Science. I recently graduated from the Diploma of General Studies at Melbourne University's Dookie campus, and I am now currently looking for volunteer work and animal-handling experience that will contribute to my application towards the Doctor of Veterinary Science course. I have always had a very strong passion for animals, and I also believe that I am a very hard-working and self-motivated individual who is always eager to learn. As well as having customer service, retail, and OH&S training and experience, I have also had previous experience in working with animals. This includes work experience at the Caroline Springs Veterinary Hospital and the Sunbury All Creatures Vet Clinic, as well as occasional dog walking. Not to mention one of the most important things, which is that I have a couple of pets of my own, including a Maltese Shih Tzu (named Friday), a budgie (named Skye) and a cockatiel (called Rhaegon), all of which I love and care for very dearly!
