Having grown up with dogs and cats I am very comfortable around animals. As a child I always conveniently had a dog or cat follow me home and then asked my mum and dad if we could keep them As an adult I have continued to adopt the strays in my neighborhood. I have a natural affinity to both dogs and cats and seem to easily gain their trust and friendship. When my cat Sarah had to be put down 2 years ago from lymphoma and tumors I was devastated as she was my family. I then had a stray cat adopt me a few months ago and he (I named him Sam) now has my trust and love. While I can walk or feed can not housesit die to my own cat
