I am currently a first year university student who is looking for some extra income. During my first year of VCE (2018), I held a part time job at the local Veterinary Hospital. My experience there included cleaning up after the animals, changing their food/water and ensuring that they were comfortable after surgery. I have grown up around animals, coming from a country background, so I have a lot experience when it comes to looking after one. I understand that they, like humans, have their own individual personalities and needs that require looking after and attending. Unfortunately, being a student living on-campus (in Hawthorn), I do not own a car so I cannot transport pets. However, I am able to catch public transport to attend a job.
