I am retired and live in a house with a large garden . My garden is fully fenced and the gates are kept locked. There are shady places in the garden. When dogs board with me they sleep inside and enjoy comforts such as air conditioning in summer and heating in winter on cold nights. I take one dog at a time unless it's a pair who are living together. I care for all ages but specialise in caring for senior dogs who are on meds and need extra care. The largest size dog I have cared for to date weighed 45kg. Good interesting walks start within 50 mt of my house, are perfect around lakes and a forest providing plenty of irresistible sniffing holes. $55 boarding at my home per day includes one walk and a main meal of Kangaroo mince (raw) or cooked chicken, brown rice and greens. For large dogs the dinner charges may be higher. Owners should supply biscuits and pet treats, and ensure that their dogs are protected against ticks and fleas. I am happy to visit and feed/water/walk a pet in its own home however I do not stay overnight in the pets home.
