I consider myself to have a bubbly and positive personality who wants to help all the animals I can. This year, I am studying the bachelor of Biomedical Science at JCU, this course goes for 3 years. After I graduate with my Biomedicine degree, I am hoping to gain a graduate entry into the Bachelor of Veterinary Science at JCU as this is the course and career I really want to do. I have done volunteer work experience at Greencross Vets where I shadowed Veterinarians and Vet Nurses and learnt what they have to go through their career. This work experience made me realize how much I want to be part of this industry. For the past 2 years, I have also been volunteering. which is a non-profit organization of volunteers who give animals that society reject a second chance at life. I am currently free anytime to walk dogs or to pet sit any animals as long as it is outside of my university schedule as it is a requirement for me to attend all classes. I also own 2 dogs and 4 cats, and I've been looking after my animals since I was 8 years old hence my 10+ year experience.
