I am a French student who came to Sydney to study engineering for 6 months (until January 2023). Since I was young, I have always loved pets and I often accompanied my mother who was a pet sitter & house sitter. I quickly wanted to do what she do, and as soon as I was old enough to do it, I started! I have been walking dogs and house sitting in France for two years now. This has allowed me to acquire different skills: - Followed owner instructions on feeding times to keep animals on schedule for food and medications. - Fed, watered, walked and exercised dogs, cats, chickens and goats. - Developed long-term relationships with clients and bonded with animals through regular contact by phone or text. - Identified temperament and special needs to optimise care for multiple pets in one sitting. - Maintained yard by watering plants and trimming hedges. - Collected mail and packages for homeowners. - Communicated with clients by sending updates and photos.
