The first pet I remember was an old stray golden Labrador who wandered into our backyard. I was two. We named her Candy. I then went through a childhood of dogs,cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, cows, chickens. Then I travelled, worked. Ten years ago after getting through breast cancer I adopted a 10yr old cattle dog called Jackson. He was with me for five years. I now live in a unit and for various reasons am unable to have pets. Being able to spend time with a few furry mates would be fabulous fun, get me walking, outside and having someone to talk to!
