I have had pets, a abundance of them, since I was born and grew up in households where we were fully involved in looking after our animals, whether they were our own or short term rescue animals until we found them a new home. I was an Au Pair for a Rottweiler for 6 months in Brisbane, Nero was 8 months old, so still a young...albeit huge pup. My daily duties included feeding him, grooming, 3 walks - morning, a short one at lunch time and an evening walk. We would go to the dog park so he could have a good run around too. Whilst I was Au Pairing for a young family in Orange, NSW, the family also had 2 kittens and an elderly dog, all of which, (including the two young boys), I would look after on a daily basis. I also Forster elephants who reside in Kenya, it is my dream one day to open and run my own elephant care and rescue centre.
