Hi,Im Theresa, I've been caring for my parents for the past 3 yrs , cleaning cooking , shopping ,taking them to appointments , giving medication . Comecaring a gentleman who was a Quadriplegic ,for 4 years,duties were 1.Using a lifter we would get him out of bed place him into a shower chair. 2 .Bowel care,then shower 3.Dress him for work 4. Lifting him into electric chair making sure all creases were out of his pants so not to cause sores. 5. Medications 6. Breakfast. 7.Clean house 8. Family ironing. It was a very rewarding job for me to help someone with a disability it made me feel extra special .
