ABOUT US. At Pink & Grey Family Day Care we focus on open-ended learning opportunities by learning through play within a welcoming home environment. We create an environment where children feel safe and included so that they can grow, learn and play. A small group allows me to foster one-to-one relationships with each child and this enables me to structure our daily and weekly programs around each child’s individual developmental levels and interests. I provide a nutritious menu and provide a learning program that gives children the knowledge of a healthy lifestyle. Children have the opportunity to have hands-on experiences with growing their own vegetables and then using those vegetables in preparing their own nutritious meals. We create nature play opportunities by going on nature walks, excursions and exploring the wonders of nature. We are registered with YMCA and child care subsidy is available for eligible families.
