Hello there, families. I am 19 years old and a recent high school graduate who is taking a Gap Year this year to learn and grow. I am originally from Brazil and have lived in Australia for 7 years. I am both fluent in English and Portuguese. I have a variety of babysitting experience, as well as some studies and future plans. I recently completed my Early Learning Childhood Certificate III at School in 2021-2022. Since then, I've used my Gap Year to delve deeper into my passion of caring for children. In addition, I have been working with a young girl who has Spina Bifida for 3 months now. I am NDIS-approved and want to gain more experience working with children who have disabilities. I intend to pursue a Bachelor of Primary Education, but I'm debating whether to work in social services or as a teacher. In October, I will begin a Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation Course at the University of Queensland to ease into university life before making a decision. Personally, I am a very dedicated person who enjoys getting up and having fun. I am gentle, kind, and eager to learn and grow alongside the child. I hope that you'll find my services effective!
