I am an Early Childhood Educator with my Cert 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care. Until recently I was running my own family day care in Buddina. I am experienced in caring for children birth to 5 years. I am a mum of two daughters now aged 14 and 18. I am looking at transitioning into a nannying position where I can form a deeper connection with the family I offer care for and work more one on one with the children. I am currently attaining my Mindfulness for Children certification and am a holistic healer who offers natural self-regulation techniques to the children I care for. I love nature and exploring our environment in a way that encourages learning through open ended experiences. My teaching technique is to offer play-based activities to expand the children’s developmental domains and learning abilities in a fun, creative way. I love progressive art, crafts and learning where the children can build upon their knowledge and creative endeavors over time adding to it as they feel inspired.
