I currently hold a working with children’s card as I completed a ‘working with children’s’ subject last year in my final year at St Brendan Shaw College. The subject consisted of learning all the skills and behavioural aspects of children’s learning and them growing up. For one part of the subject it was compulsory to do a 4 month placement at a childcare centre. It consisted of me going to a childcare centre once a week for 4 months so I could analyse and observe children’s behaviour. It gave me an insight into what it would be like to work in the childcare industry in which I am interested in. I am now 19 and since I was 15 I have always helped out to babysit my family friends children and I thoroughly enjoy it. I am willing to look after children and help out with school pick ups and drop offs, drop off/pick up to sporting commitments, bathing, getting ready for bed, preparing their breakfast/lunch/dinner, preparing activities for them and being involved. I am also more than happy to help with house cleaning duties if required. I am available anytime whether it be early mornings, during the day or late at night. I am currently waiting for the 2021 TAFE enrolments to begin a course in certificate ||| in early childhood education
