My name is Tayla and I am a student at Southern Cross University studying a Bachelor of Social Welfare. For up to 5 years (on and off), I have looked after my mothers, friend's daughter. This was usually during school holidays, some weekends, and random weeknights (if she was going out for dinner, etc.), whenever she needed a hand. We would play games around the house, go swimming at the pool, going for drives so she can listen to music and sing for me, and many other activities. I would also be in her company whilst she had a bath, I would prepare basic meals and heat up meals made prior to me coming over and going through timetables to help with homework. I was lucky to watch her grow up, especially because I am the youngest sibling in my family and could experience that. She had become like a little sister to me, we got along very well. :)
