I have 2 years experience working with children in an education setting and, also with children and young people in the out of home care system. I have experience as a youth worker where I worked with children who were in care and provided emotional support and mentoring through positive relationships, assisted in daily living skills, encouraged engagement in education and extracurricular activities, and dealt with conflict resolution. I am currently a Before and After School Educator which requires me to ensure active supervision at all times, engaging positively with the children and creating a safe environment, responding to their emotional and physical needs, and also preparing and providing morning and afternoon tea.
