I have a diploma in primary education and am wanting to get back into child care work. While I have not had paid child care work for 6 years, I regularly look after my cousins kids who are 2, 6, and 9, with two of them having autism and ADHD. Looking after them at least once a week has given me many skills and attributes that are perfect for childcare, such as patience, the ability to calm a stressed child, and a determination to create a fun and safe environment for the children.
