Hello Families! A little about me and my experience; Hi, my name is Tamara, I'm 22 years old and I‘m from switzerland. I started my „childcare career“ early with lots of babysitting in my hometown. It was there that my passion for childcare began. After completing highschool I started a placement in a nursery (caring for kids between 3 months and 4 years) which lasted one year. Following that, I began my apprentiship at the same nursery which lasted 3 years, completing in July 2023. During my apprentiship I not only had the opportunity for practical education but also studied child development at school once per week. After I finished my apprentiship, I continued working at the same nursery for another 6 months before deciding that it was time for a new adventure. I came to Australia for new experiences, combining both of my greatest passions - travel and childcare! After all these years working with children of all ages, I found my passion is working with newborns (0-1.5y/o). I love to witness their development, gaining new skills and accompanying them on their little journey. I’m currently looking for a Job on Mondays and Fridays.
