I am an 18 year old after school care worker. I work with children aged 5-12 monday-friday. I enjoy making connections with children and seeing them flourish and grow as an individual. I work from 1.30-6.30pm and am looking for a job in the mornings to midday. I am in university studying primary teaching as it has always been a passion of mine. At the moment I am taking 8 months off university to try and make extra money and save before going back full time. Prior to my after school care role I was a manager for 2 years at mcdonald’s which has provided me with lots of necessary attributes and connections with children aged 14-18. Before this I worked at a party place for children which gave me more experience in this sector and allowed me to learn how to communicate effectively with children. I also have 4 younger siblings and many cousin whom of which I have babysat for the most part of my life. I am eager to begin the journey of baby sitting with a family!
