Hi, there! My name is Stephanie and I am a 27-year-old living in Tallebudgera. I've always loved being around children and started babysitting at 15. At 18, I was a nanny for a family with 3 small children (newborn, 3-year-old, 4-year-old). I worked for this family for a few years where I worked for them in New York, Dubai and Sydney. In 2020, I worked FT for a family with two children (1.5 year old, 4 year old). This role was a unique as it involved supporting the two children through a very recent traumatic experience. I was able to grow as a carer by careful listening, recognising their grief and linked behaviours, and introducing them to many coping skills. I worked closely with the parent and the children's external support networks. Other responsibilities included light cooking/feeding, accompanying to activities (playgroups, swimming etc), creating fun activities, cleaning, putting down for a nap, changing nappies, caring for children when sick. I am extremely attentive, personable, and I enjoy the outdoors, art, and reading. I have my WWCC/BlueCard, First-Aid, CPR, ABN, own transportation, and am fully-vaxxed.
