I am a diploma qualified, national award nominated educator seeking weekend or evening work. I acquired my Diploma in Children's Services in 2013 and have worked in the sector ever since. I am working towards a degree in psychological science and counselling as I enjoy understanding behaviour and how to support people to being the strongest, wisest and kindest versions of themselves. I have studied many different early learning philosophies and have found pearls of wisdom in most of them; therefore I can draw from a range of techniques to support children based on their individual needs. I have been described by employers and families as kind, funny, energetic, patient and musical (I play guitar and sing in a folk band). I was nominated the 'Rising Star Award' in 2017 for my work in early childhood. I enjoy doing practical life activities with children such as cooking and sewing, so I am confident in facilitating learning experiences and making it fun. Outside of early childhood, I volunteer for the RSPCA Op shop as I am a huge lover of animals and like to advocate for the rights to a high-quality life.
