I have recently returned from the UK where I worked as a live-in Au Pair for 8 months. I looked after a 6 year old boy undertaking duties such as school pick up/drop off, taking him to after school clubs, cooking light meals, entertaining him, helping with homework, bath and bed time, and light household duties. I absolutely adored the boy and we had a lot of fun together. I can provide a reference from my experience as an Au Pair. I have experience babysitting my now 6 year old nephew and 11 year old niece as well. I am currently employed full time Mon-Fri 9-5 so would ideally be looking for evening and weekend babysitting opportunities.
