Hi there, My name is Sophie and I am currently seeking a bit of extra work. I have just moved to Wollongong from Tasmania and am in my second year of my Bachelor of Primary Education. In my first year I was required to spend time in a grade 2 classroom and after enjoying this experience I have volunteered to help one of my previous primary school teachers in her grade 4 classroom for the remainder of the year. I have babysat for my parents friends at the ages of 6 months, 6 years and 8 years. I also have many younger cousins. Although I don’t have a great deal of experience babysitting I have researched and studied (through my uni course) the physical, psychosocial and cognitive development of children, I believe this will help me with getting to know and work with your children. I am currently also enrolled in two subjects that have a big focus on studying the Australian Curriculum and NSW Syllabus, this will help me to give your children some support with their homework as well as engage them in any educational activities out of school times.
