I am a 25 year old woman with two years of child care experience, from nannying, to coaching sports, to working as a teaching assistant at a special needs school. I am a positive outgoing person who is patient and calm when dealing with stressful situations. Last year I was a swim instructor at the NT Swim School teaching all ages, including baby and toddler classes. The year prior I worked as a teaching assistant at a school for neurodivergent kids, where I worked closely with behavioural specialists, psychologists and social workers who all taught me a great deal in supporting these children. I also have personal experience growing up with a brother with Aspergers. As such I am well equipped to look after those that need an extra hand. I also have a nut allergy myself and therefore understand the care that must be taken around food. I have my First Aid and CPR qualification as well as my Working With Children Card. I am currently in the process of getting my full driver’s license. I also have an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in international politics and security.
