Due to being raised in a home where my biological parents fostered children in the 0 – 10 years age bracket, I have had extensive experience with children. Children who were in my family’s care came from a variety of backgrounds and several had a range of special needs including ADHD, trauma induced Attachment Disorders, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorders and Global Developmental Delays. My role in supporting these children was to assist with feeding and general care for them, playing, physical activities and helping them with homework for school.
