My name is Shiela from Philippines. I am 32 years old and currently on a student visa studying Diploma in Information Technology. I have a 1 year and 7-month-old son who is currently in the Philippines with my sister-in-law. When I arrived here in Sydney, my first job was babysitting for a Jewish family in North Bondi with 4 boys (age 11, 9, 4, and 8-month-old). I worked for this family for 4 months. Aside from being a nanny, I can also do cleaning, some cooking, help with homework, and play fun and educational activities with kids. I love being a nanny because I enjoy being with children. Taking care of them is like taking care of my own child as well. I am also planning to change the course that I'm studying to Early Childhood education because I love this to be my career pathway.
