My experience with children has developed throughout my life. I grew up in a home where my mother provided child care, and watching her is hugely where my childcare knowledge started. I myself started babysitting evenings and some days as young as 12 years old. I now have over 10 years of experience in watching children, though not through a professional service or site, but rather was by connections and acquaintances. I can care for children, do some cooking and cleaning, plan and do activities, clean up and put to bed children, and I have my class C Australian licence. I love spending time with young children and youth, and find it engaging, fulfilling, and something I would like to pursue as a more permanent job after recently moving back to WA.
