I have worked in the Childcare industry for 18 years as an educator at a Child Care Centre. I was a nanny for 15 years before having my 2 children whom are now 25 and 28. I have also worked in a school environment as a teacher aide and as a support person. I am currently casual relief care in a Child Care Centre, nanny work, respite care and I also do week evening and weekend night babysitting. I do overnight and full weekend care if am available. I believe a learning environment led by a child's interest and extending this is important in their development. I think exploring the outdoors learning environment, arts and crafts, stories, music, books and having fun with children helps them to learn. I am caring, nurturing, responsible and fun. I have many references of families and co workers that I can provide. I value the importance of working together and recognise this as vital in caring for your child.
