My name is Shanae, and I am 23 years of age. I studied my Cert 3 and 4 in Education Support and have since worked in a wide range of childcare jobs including daycares, OSHC's, primary school and high school. I am studying a Social Work degree with the hopes I will be able to work in the foster care system once I finish. Based on my experience of years in childcare I can care for children as young as 4 months old and up to 17 years old. I love nurturing and caring for children, watching them grow and evolve, and watching them hit each milestone gives me immense joy. I believe my experience in childcare has given me wonderful knowledge. I will provide them with the tools to learn and guide them in the right direction while making the children's own choices the biggest part of learning. I am now looking for some once-off babysitting jobs to provide families with the extra care they need and have the comfort of knowing they can go out to other commitments etc. and are leaving their child with a responsible adult to care for them.
