My name is Sarah, I’m 25, I am an experienced, mature and qualified former early childhood educator with over 3 years experience working with children of all ages. I have a genuine passion to support children’s development, learning and wellbeing while having fun and providing a nurturing, safe and structured environment. I have always loved working with kids, genuinely enjoying spending time getting to know, having fun and learning alongside them. I started babysitting around my local area as a young teen and continued to do so into my late teens/young adult years while I studied my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care and worked at a childcare centre. I worked at Toowong Childcare Centre for two years working with children aged 6 months to 5 years. During this time I developed an understanding of children’s development and gained experience managing complex behaviour, caring for multiple children, building relationships and effectively communicating with both children and their parents.
