In Europe, I worked as an Au Pair in England, and as a nanny for various families in France as I studied a degree in Human Sciences and Arts. To my experience as a nanny and an au pair, I have combined a training in Theatre Teaching to children, with a theatre company that taught me play-based forms of learning and Montessori principles, that place the child at the center, and are inclusive of neuro-diverse profiles. If I love arts and fun, I'm also a very practical person. My experience in hospitality jobs taught me how to handle stressful situations and fast-paced environments while still paying attention to details. My theoretical background in childcare and teaching is therefore backed up by a good sense of reality. I always found working with children very rewarding, as there is in my opinion as much to learn from them as there is to teach. I'm happy to adapt to the needs of the family, and can also tutor if needed (I'm fluent in French and Italian and can help with general homework).
