I have an experience in being a teacher for children ages 5 years and below for a year. I was one of the main teachers for Art Class but I also taught Play & Learn and School Skills Classes and was a teacher's aide for the preschool department. In addition, my duties include facilitating parent/caregiver - child activities; directing and engaging adults as they interact with their child/children and facilitating/hosting special events and birthday parties. Currently I am a casual Before and After School Hours Assistant. I am working with children ages 5- 12 years old, assisting in setting up activities and helping with cleaning duties. I can also multi-task and do some housekeeping like cleaning and laundry while looking for the child. I am a fast learner, have a can-do attitude and personal drive. I am also currently studying Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at LEAD College and will pursue a Diploma of Early Childhood and Education and Care after to further hone my knowledge and skills in handling children.
