I have over 10 years experience working with a diverse range of children. I hold a Bachelor's of Education degree. I have worked as a Primary School Teacher and have many years working full-time as a nanny. As a nanny, I have worked with various families, children aged 18 months – 6 years. I feel inspired to genuinely listen and talk with children, to meet them where they are at with love and acceptance and hold space for who they are as human beings. I am apt at creating engaging and meaningful activities with children; crafts, learning, imaginative play, parks, play dates, swimming, biking, hiking, reading.. just to name a few. During my time as a Year 1 & 2 class teacher, I was responsible for planning units of work in numerous subjects. I designed and implemented engaging learning experiences that catered to a diverse range of learners. I enjoyed developing close relationships with children and staff. During my time here, I learned how to effectively communicate with children (and parents) and how to manage a classroom and various behaviours. I have also worked full time as a supply teacher (Years K-8) - enabling me to work across a variety of schools with many different children and environments.
