I am a 28 year old lawyer from the UK, who will be living in Manly from October 2024 on a working holiday visa. I am currently looking for work in childcare. Since graduating from University in 2017, I have predominantly worked within the legal sector (since qualifying, as an employment lawyer), however I have also worked as an au pair in both Milan and Barcelona (in 2021 and 2022), which I really enjoyed. Prior to that, during my time at sixth-form and University, I would regularly babysit, look after children in the school holidays and worked as a Mothers Help. I am confident when it comes to looking after children, from getting them dressed and ready in the morning to preparing basic meals in the early evening. Whilst living in Manly, I am looking forward to enjoying the weather and the outside, which hopefully this type of work will allow me to do. In Barcelona, for example, I would take the children that I was looking after to the park to play games and to an outdoor swimming pool. I would describe myself as very reliable, responsible, active, kind and caring.
