My passion in life is working with children. From the age of 16 I became a babysitter in my local neighbourhood and babysat newborn babies up to children of the age of 12. I also worked in summer camps and after school camps for 5 years while I was in university. The after school clubs I ran included homework help, sports activities and support with social and emotional needs. The summer camps I worked at included the organisation and overseeing of activities from sports, dance, singing and swimming. I have been teaching in Ireland for the past four years. Over these four years I have experience teaching children from the age of 4-12, including teaching in Special Educational settings. My variety of experience working with children over the years has provided me with a comprehensive understanding on the importance of the child’s overall holistic development. As well as this, I am very experienced with catering for a variety of needs from my teaching experience in particular. I understand that no two children are the same and all require different support and care. In my spare time I love to go for runs/ walks, swim, read and go to the gym. I also love to cook and experiment with new creative recipes!
