I'm keen to find a nice family or individual to support with childcare, disability or aged care. I am living in zetland Vale and looking for work in surrounding suburbs as well as the eastern suburbs. I have worked with children of a range of ages , the youngest having been toddlers at 2 years of age and the oldest were 15 and 16. I enjoy this role because I find children interesting and no day is the same. I also like to share my skills and experience with the children such as when assisting them to complete homework, playing piano or playing sport. I like to facilitate activities to keep children entertained and also like to promote as much independence as possible ensuring activities and tasks are appropriate for their age such as supporting an 11 year old girl to cook dinner under my supervision. I'm also a social person with a good sense of humour and I'm able to forgive and forget when there are tantrums or disagreements, with empathy for this being a way a child learns best how to communicate and assert what they want. I'm patient and a good listener, enabling me to build a good rapport with children , enabling me to establish trust and care for them effectively.
