I am an experienced carer of children, ranging from infants to 18 yo’s, including teaching experience with multiples, and students with intellectual and physical disabilities. I am currently taking a break from the stressors of teaching and am looking forward to returning to my work as a carer for younger children. I am a patient, caring, fair, creative and dependable person. I pride myself on my communication skills and engaging children with a range of productive, active, and age appropriate educational activities. And most of all, I love the silly conversations and games I can have with kids. My experience includes 3 years working at before/after school care, 8+ years of regular babysitting and nannying, 10+ years of homework help/High School Mathematics tutoring, 6+ years as a High School Mathematics teacher, and 3 years as a children's/youth football (soccer) coach. I hold a full driver's license and my own car. I also have a Cert III as a Health Services Assistant (a step lower than an Enrolled Nurse). My CPR/First Aid/Anaphylaxis certificates are out of date however, I am willing to renew them, on request. I can also provide references on request.
