Hi there! I am a Canadian student currently completing my masters degree at James Cook University! I worked as a nanny in Canada for over a year for children ages 1,3, and 5! My responsibilities for this family included school drop off and pickup for the oldest, light-housekeeping duties, as well as entertaining the children with age-appropriate activities. Further, I worked as a tutor for children and teens ages 7-15, primarily focussing on literature, science and math work. Recently I volunteered as a camp councillor for teens (12-16) with learning disabilities and worked to develop activities that encouraged both academic and social skills. In each of these roles I ensured safety is the main priority and would give my full attention to each child/ group I was responsible for.
